How to Add Charms to Our Necklaces - Video Tutorial

Madilyn from The Charm Bar Company offers a step-by-step tutorial on how to attach our charm with our high-quality 18k gold plated stainless steel jump rings directly to our handmade Charm Bar Ashley Necklace as well as to our Piper Carabiner. Charm Necklace With Carabiner: To use the Piper Carabiner on our Ashley Charm Bar Necklace... simply open the carabiner by twisting the opening, slide the large jump ring on one side of the chain over the carabiner followed by each charm and the remaining chain and close it. Your Charm Necklace is ready to wear!

Charm Necklace with Charms Directly Attached to Chain: We recommend using two needle nose pliers to directly attach charms to the necklace chain without the carabiner.

Step 1: Grip one end of the jump ring with one plier in one hand. With the other hand, use the second plier to grip the other end of the jump ring and twist it to open. DO NOT PULL APART JUMP RING TO OPEN... TWIST TO OPEN.

Step 2: Slide into the desired position on the charm necklace chain.

Step 3: Twist the jump ring in the opposite direction to close making sure to twist into place with ends meeting as closely as possible to avoid any spacing.

Practice opening and closing jump rings to ensure correct application.
